ANTHONY CARTER LIMITED is an Art Consultancy business. Its main function is to provide a brokerage service sourcing objects both privately and at public auction for collectors and institutions. This service is provided with the utmost care and discretion. Advice is given on all aspects of the buying and selling of works of art from restoration, mounting and photography to insurance, transport and regulations governing the international movement of works of art.
We will advise collectors on how best to dispose of entire collections including negotiating with auction houses on their behalf. If Anthony Carter Limited is itself to sell the collection and the owner wishes to have the collection exhibited, we will arrange the exhibition, design and produce a scholarly catalogue to accompany the exhibition and depending on the contents of the collection, will mount the exhibition in one of the following cities: London, New York or Hong Kong.
We also undertake valuations for insurance or probate and for American citizens, appraisals for Donated Property.
